I first met Bertrand as a winemaker for Dominio de Atauta, one of the best wineries in Ribera Del Duero .He is now also involved in the family Domaine in Chinon. His first vintages are expressing the true potential of his Estate with silky, deep and rich Cabernets,without any of the green vegetal characters often showing in the lesser wines from this region.
